Even though quite honestly, "100 Words" may be one of the finest AFI songs ever made. But who cares? This is a review about the new content being marketed as a part of the Crash Love album, and the Crash Love album isn't what it's all cracked up to be. It's more like the sound of AFI cracking up to me.

WebOverall, Crash Love is a nice album to listen to and AFI have lost very little of their musicianship that they've always had. The lyrics are a little lackluster and it lacks the variation and diversity between hardcore punk and that STS and DU had - one of my favourite AFI songs is The Leaving Song (Part 1), it's just so unique. WebCrash Love is grossly underrated among AFI fans. Some of the songs on the album are truly brilliant, with me putting Okay, I Feel Better Now as one of the very best songs in their entire catalogue. That being said, it's easy to grasp how others might find a few of the songs on the album kind of corny.
